Practice update
We're told that Georgia is expected to hold a shorter practice today, following yesterday's scrimmage, so we should have some updates in an hour or so.
Meanwhile, here's what was gleaned from the portion of practice we were allowed to witness ... and I mean witness ... this afternoon:
- Still no Branden Smith.
- S Bacarri Rambo and ILB Mike Gilliard were both in green non-contact jerseys, but were running around and participating, so it doesn't look serious for either of them.
- G Cordy Glenn, who we were told yesterday was sick, was absent from practice.
- WR Kris Durham was sitting out a second straight day. Coach Mark Richt said yesterday that Durham "dinged" his shoulder.
- Reserve S Quintin Banks (knee) was not out there.
- OL A.J. Harmon, who sat out the scrimmage, was back in red today.
- And in a non-injury note, just to be refreshing: During line drills, freshman Kenarious Gates drew some kudos for an impressive push-back.
