Auburn game at 3:30 on CBS

Georgia's visit to Auburn on Nov. 13 has been picked up by CBS and will kick off at 3:30 p.m., it was announced Monday.

That's a bit of a surprise. CBS could have opted for South Carolina at Florida, which will in all likelihood be for the East Division championship.

Instead, the network apparently preferred the allure of the south's oldest rivalry, and the nation's No. 2 team (according to the BCS) and Heisman Trophy front-runner.

So that means Georgia, after not appearing on CBS the first eight weeks of the season, will do so twice in a three-week span.

The Gamecock-Gator game will instead be an ESPN night game. There's a slight chance that game won't mean the East title, but that would require Vanderbilt upsetting Florida on Saturday.

Auburn, meantime, will still be unbeaten in two weeks, barring a colossal upset at home to Chattanooga.

What channel will this weeks game be on? I will be working during a ga game for the first time in years this sat. I only have directv at work.

If it's only on ppv or something this will be the first ga game I have not gone to or seen on tv in years.

According to http://mattsarzsports.com/2010/week10.aspx (a source I routinely use to find what games are on what channels), the game will also be on ESPN3.com, if you can get that at work. If you don't, but you do get it at home, you might also be able to log in using your home Internet account info. For example, I'm on Comcast Internet at home, so if I'm anywhere else in the country, I can log in to my Comcast account and watch ESPN3 that way.

So unless Tech is a night game, every single home game this year will be a noon-ish kickoff.

Thanks for nothing CBS.

Hey Carter, STFU. I'm trying to save the world from idiots like you and Willb. I'm the moron though, asking questions like, "What channel is channel 4". Get a clue.

True Dawg Fans believe we could actually win this game. I live in Alabama and all the Auburn fans are scared to death of this game. Lets hope the non-turnover team shows up and it should be a great game for everyone to watch.

Posting under my name now?

Is that the best you have to make fun of me? Seriously if your going to make fun of me at least say something where I can see you put a little thought into it anon.

Do I bother you that much? My opinions about ga really bother you that much? Just because I'm not screaming that "we suck and everyone should be fired" I'm a moron? Should I be more negative?

If I have a problem with one of your opinions I don't call you an idiot and act like a moron. I try to explain why I feel the way I do about something. It seems most others on here can't handle reading an opinion that is not the same as there's.

No Auburn Fan I know is scared of Ga. They are looking for payback for the last 4 years. We will give up before the game even starts. We might score 20 points but they will score 40+. The only game which causes them any concern is the Alabama game and they believe they will win that one.
