My journey north continues today, where I'll be spending my day in the home of Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi and Tony Soprano... as well as Mr. Knowshon Moreno.
Knowshon will be hosting a Q&A with local football players today at a Modell's sporting goods store in his hometown -- the same place he worked during high school. He'll be hanging out with his old high school coach and current players from his Middletown South team. I'll have updates via Twitter and have some video (hopefully) tomorrow.
We'll have plenty of additional draft coverage tomorrow as well, including some Q&As with Georgia players waiting anxiously for the draft and (again, hopefully) video from several pre-draft events with Matthew Stafford.
Until then, onto the links...
-- All signs point to a deal in the very near future for Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions.
-- Mark Richt kicked off his Bulldog Club appearances in Roswell, and the AJC's Tim Tucker has the story.
-- Get the Picture takes a critical look at the relationship between offensive success and experienced offensive lines.
-- Marc Weiszer polls some UGA folks to find out who was Georgia's all-time greatest quarterback.
-- Loran Smith looks at the life of Mal Cook beyond his legendary status as one of Georgia's gridiron greats.
-- This certainly has the potential to end badly: Former UGA commitment Daniel Miller will now play ball for Georgia Tech.
-- With Miller's decision to head elsewhere, Georgia now only has nine scholarship players on its 2009-10 roster. Add to that the continuing concerns on whether Trey Thompkins or Jeremy Price will stay and the late-season academic concerns for Travis Leslie and... well it could get really ugly.
-- The Bulldogs will head to Madison Square Garden for a game against St. John's next year.
-- The Athens Banner-Herald says that UGA should put effort into trying to bring the World Cup to Sanford Stadium.
-- Dawgs Sports has all the details on Georgia's loss to Jacksonville State last night, including an excellent reference to "Major League." Heywood leads the league in most offensive categories, including nose hair. When this guy sneezes, he looks like a party favor.
-- Cousin Walter has the SEC's version of a police blotter today.
-- Bobby Johnson is defending his former QB, Jay Cutler, in the war of words that led to Cutler's departure from the Denver Broncos.
-- Apparently reading is not fun-damental at Ole Miss.
-- The Heat-Hawks series looks like it's going to be the best one in the East. 960 the Ref talks with Hawks analyst Mike Glenn about the matchup.
-- For folks like me who love complaining, here's a great article from the Wall Street Journal on baseball's worst ideas.
-- While major league baseball has its fair share of bad ideas, minor league baseball's business is built around them. After all, they add color. In the case of the Greensboro Grasshoppers, that color is yellow. Marge Schott would be proud. (h/t CBJ)
-- I had already assumed that "Crank: High Voltage" was going to suck. Now, I'm certain it will. But hey, it's good to see Corey Haim is getting work.
-- A suspect capped Dog the Bounty Hunter, but he couldn't avoid getting pinched.

No comment on Paulus to the 'Cuse?
Well... I guess we can't get any worse. But I don't want his Duke-ishness rubbing off on the basketball team though.
