Report: Syracuse Hires former UGA Assistant
I can't say I'm the least bit happy with this decision, nor am I the least bit surprised.
Syracuse continues its insistance on hiring NFL coaches at the college level. This time it's current New Orleans Saints assitant and former Georgia offensive line coach Doug Marrone, according to ESPN Radio in Chicago.
I can't say I know a ton about Marrone, but from 1995-99 he was at Georgia Tech and Georgia, so I'm hoping some of my wonderful readers can offer some words of hope here.

Don't worry. He could be as good as CWM. At least give him 5 years to prove it.
He was a good o-line coach here at UGA. I think he came around at the wrong time. He will do a great job at Syracuse, and may help return them to a competetive team.
