Mullen to MSU

Various sources are reporting that Florida offensive coordinator Dan Mullen has landed the head coaching job at Mississippi State.

I think this is an excellent hire for MSU, although any time a coordinator from a team that has a head coach heavily involved in the team's game plan, you have to wonder how much of the credit for the success belongs with the coordinator. Witness Charlie Weis.

Of course, there's really nowhere for Mississippi State's offense to go but up.
