Happy Birthday to Coach Richt

Just an FYI... Mark Richt turns 49 today. No word yet on what Lane Kiffin bought him as a birthday present.

Anonymous said...: i got the basketball band to sing him happy birthday! if we had known he would be swarmed with fans telling him happy birthday and shaking his hand after, we might not have done it though haha. we were happy to get the wave. it's funny how the band does so much stuff for the attention of coach richt and the football team. in basketball we usually just try to get the opposite reaction from the opposing teams players, coaches, and the refs.

David Hale said...: I worked as a PA guy for a minor league baseball team a few years ago and we loved taunting the opposition. Whenever the shortest guy on the other team came up to bat, we played the Oompa Loompa song as his intro music. Great times.

And the happy birthday for Coach Richt was really the highlight of last night's game... although I guess that's not saying much.; February 19, 2009 at 7:38 AM
