how much better is the press coverage AJ is facing in practice/scrimages this spring and the early part of fall going to make him?

you gotta think he hasn't faced that in practice his first two years...

I'd say the press have been after AJ pretty good since his senior year in high school. Consequently, he's armed to the teeth and ready to unleash every sport's cliche in the book this upcoming season.

Great stuff!

(Note to Hale: before next GDay, get Spoon a boom mic so that we can hear Grantham even better when he's talking on the sideline.)

"Press coverage" = our DB's at the line of scrimage playing more physical against him evey day in practice. Like they were in GDay.

Not some guy with a audio record in his face....

I'd think facing a physical bump/man coverage everyday in practice is going to help him not only in 2010 but as a pro.

C'mon. That was at least kind of funny, right?

I laughed....I got it.

Funny because you made sarcastic comments about another person's legit comments? Maybe. Funny cause it makes you look like you don't know what "press coverage" is? Not so much.

It would be a good question to AJ besides the lady on the video that asked "who do you think will be the QB." Hell ask him some thing specific to his position and role on the team. How has he improved this spring? Is it challenging going agains Lakatos physical style of play at CB? Do you want to return punts?

Watch the video again and the gday game footage. The defenders were physical wih AJ at the line of scrimage. They stuffed him. He didn't do well with it, unless he was loafing. The cb's were on him as soon as the ball snapped the whole day. Is it a good sign for the D that they stopped AJ? Yes? Is it a good sign AJ didn't do anything against press coverage? NO!

Maybe thats why you post under 'Anonymous'... cause all you want to do is be a smart A$$ instead of positively contributing to the conversation on the blog.

Geez! Lighten' up my man. It wasn't supposed to be funny at your expense. While I'll admit it wasn't particularly clever, I actually thought you might enjoy the joke as well.
I apologize if you thought a brief joke detracted from the blog. I personally, thought it was in the spirtit of D. Hale's occasionaly sarcastic yet innocent humor. No offense intended.
