Dawgs in the Community
From UGA Athletics...
Members of the Georgia football team will visit several local elementary schools and an assisted living residence on Monday, Nov. 24.
A total of 105 players and several members of the UGA support staff will divide into groups and read to children at eight local elementary schools and visit Arbor Terrace Assisted Living from 8:00-10:00 a.m.
We are looking forward to reading at several elementary schools across the area and visiting many senior citizens, Georgia coach Mark Richt said. It s always good to be able to put a smile on someone s face.
The eight schools the Bulldogs will visit include Alps Road Elementary, Oconee Elementary, Barnett Shoals Elementary, Barrow Elementary, Gaines Elementary, Winterville South Elementary, Howard B. Stroud Elementary and Timothy Elementary.
