Anyone think this 2-deep could compete with the Lions? Urban coaching the offense, Saban coaching the defense. I say the spread would be Lions -21 and the SEC would cover.

Unless I am missing something, we have one more player on the list than Florida does--the talent was there.

Theworld- You are missing something. Georgia's 7 players are taken from both the first and second All-SEC team. Florida has 10 players from both teams, 6 on the first-team alone. I am happy to see Rennie Curran get the nod at linebacker on the first-team over Brandon Spikes.

Curran over Spikes?

Surprising, imho, but good for Rennie.

I knew Dexter McCluster would make some noise on this list, but damn, 1st Team and 2nd Team offense! I love watching that guy play!

Thanks for the clarification Anon 4:50, I thought that seemed too good to be true.

Leigh over Walsh? I call BS

Butwhere is the scourge of the deep threat, the All=World player, WR Julio Jones of Alabama??? Thought surely the hype alone would carry him into one of the teams...NOT!!

David,

Got any leads on DC's? What if Nutt goes to Kansas....would we want/seek out Tyrone Nix?

Tyrone Nix was going to be fired at USC under Spurrier and resigned stating he wanted to get closer to home. We need to kill the Tyrone Nix rumors!!!

I cannot believe that they thought Leigh Tiffin was a 1st teamer over Blair Walsh. What am I missing?

Noticeably absent are

Ben Jones
Reshad Jones
Kade Weston
Jeff Owens

Also thought Ealey might have an outside shot at Freshmen of the Year.

Mississippi was ranked 24th in total defense and 17th in scoring defense this year. 19th in total defense and 20th in scoring defense in 2008.

Reshad Jones, you ARE noticeably absent. If you're not ready to make all-conference, you're not ready for the NFL. You need another year at UGA.
