Dawgs Stay Put in AP Poll

The Bulldogs win over Tennessee on Saturday was impressive invirtually every statistical category, but didn't make much of animpression on voters. Georgia remains at No. 10 in the latest AP poll, jumped by Florida and Oklahoma State.

Texastook over the top spot in the polls after upsetting Oklahoma in Dallas.Alabama remains No. 2, with Penn State jumping up to third, followed byOklahoma, Florida (up from No. 11 last week), USC, Texas Tech, OkieState and BYU.

LSU dropped to 13th after being demolished by the Gators. Auburn, which lost to Arkansas on Saturday, dropped from the polls complete and did not receive a vote. Vanderbilt dropped from No. 13 to No. 22.

The SEC has five teams ranked among the top 25, the Big 12 has six (including five in the top 11), the Big East has two, the Big Ten has three, Pac-10 has two and the ACC has three. Four non-BCS confrence teams -- BYU, Utah, Boise State and Ball State -- also made the top 25.
