Another media guide note: The 2012 schedule set?
These dates have already pretty much been announced, but Georgia's just-released 2011 football media guide also appears to officially reveal the 2012 schedule.
Here it is:
Sept. 1: Buffalo
Sept. 8: at South Carolina
Sept. 15: Florida Atlantic
Sept. 22: Vanderbilt
Sept. 29: Tennessee
Oct. 6: at Alabama
Oct. 13: at Kentucky
Oct. 27: vs. Florida
Nov. 3: Ole Miss
Nov. 10: at Auburn
Nov. 17: Georgia Southern
Nov. 24: Georgia Tech
Of course, there's nothing stopping Georgia from making a late change, as we saw last year with the Boise State-for-Louisville switch.

Our out of conference schedule is awful... Was this set before McGarrity came in or is this part of the deal where he came in and started cancelling big out of conference games (i.e. Oregon).
I agree with Dawgfan. It's a sad compromise between wanting to be a winning program or a truly ambitious one.
8 home games....that's good for the school every now and then.
Check AU and BAMA's scheduling lately.
This is a result of the Louisville cancellation. This is the McGarrity tactic to have more home games. We will all pay full price for these crappy games. You all need to write letters to McGarrity to gain any impact.

Or UF's scheduling the last 10-15 years. It works.
Softer schedule. McGarity's strategy to counteract the steadily decline of wins by Richt.
um, I only count 7 home games.
7 is right..
That may be the worst home schedule I've ever seen and I thought last year was bad.
When UT and Tech are your best home games and both of those are likely to be 12:30 games, you've really started scraping the bottom of the barrel.
BLECH. I can see a VERY empty stadium for some of those.
Right, these terrible home games/teams are killing my ability to sell half my season tickets.
