ESPNU to Show Highlights of SEC Swimming & Diving

From UGA release...

ESPNU will televise highlights and interviews from the Southeastern Conference Swimming and Diving Championships during its SEC-TV Weekly program on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

The Georgia women won the conference title and the Georgia men came in fourth in the meet that took place at Gabrielsen Natatorium inside the Ramsey Center.

Georgia boasted individual SEC champions in Wendy Trott (500 and 1,650 freestyle), Allison Schmitt (200 freestyle), Mark Dylla (200 butterfly), Bill Cregar (400 individual medley) and Martin Grodzki (1,650 freestyle). The Lady Bulldogs also won the 800 freestyle relay with Morgan Scroggy, Chelsea Nauta, Kelly McNichols and Schmitt and the 400 freestyle relay with Scroggy, Megan Romano, Nauta and Schmitt.

Afterward, Georgia’s Jack Bauerle was named the SEC Women’s Coach of the Year, Grodzki was picked as the SEC Male Freshman of the Year, and Jana Mangimelli earned SEC Female Freshman of the Year honors.
