I have to think that practicing against the best receiver in the country can only be good for our secondary. They won't come across a harder receiver to cover in any of their games this year.

Boykin is very articulate. That was a great interview. Hope Marlon steps up the way TK is.

We are obviously ignoring the news on this blog now.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg County School System has ruled that Christian LeMay cannot attend any Summer Workouts with his team. He also must miss 8 regular season games through Mid-October, more than half the season, Suspended. Any appeal cannot be heard until late August, and he has no hope of his suspension being removed. No, preacher, he didn’t beat anyone up, nor have a weapon or drugs – he had sex on school grounds in front of the Principal of said school, Butler. As for how you determine that does not affect his commitment to UGA, there are 2 fronts, 1st and foremost, Christian said if nothing changes – which is not a commitment and 2nd his offense is exactly the same as Michael Grant’s offense, and UGA Admissions wouldn’t allow Michael Grant in. How can they now allow Christian LeMay in ? Because he is the # 1 QB in the nation according to Sporting News ? Michael Grant, was and is a very good football player, too.

We also learned over night that besides our Athletics Director being run out of town on a rail for disgracing The University of Georgia, the Athletics Department, his entire family, but not the football recruits - that the Magistrate Judge has moved forward with the charges against Jordan Lawrence Love, DOB 12/31/1990, whom the Judge said yesterday would not provide his full name, nor his Date of Birth. This is not a Police State, but those are the 2 items everyone MUST provide. His sister and mom can say all they want, he was obstructing the officer in his performance of his duties. Let’s also be very clear about this, it was the day AFTER the 4th of July, he did have fireworks on his person, he did have a lighter on his person, and he was the 1 shooting off the fireworks. But, he is either too stupid to know his own damn birthday and middle name, or taught by his mom to ignore his middle name because it is in fact his father’s name and she does not want to associate with the child’s father, and taught to be uncooperative in an investigation which would have been dropped onsite by providing his middle name you and I both know he knows and his birthday, you and I both know he knows.

This of course, on top of 3 players being kicked off the team since the Spring Practices started (2 for altercations with little girls both college students), 1 Athletics Director kicked out (not for DUI but for cheating on his wife), and 41 Arrests / Suspensions since February 2007, three years now.

and oh by the way, we have lost 10 of the last 20 SEC East games (good for 3rd Best vs SEC East teams) over the last 4 years and lost 12 of the last 32 SEC football games (good for 4th best in The SEC) over the last 4 years, 21 fumbles a year average for the last 4 years, 14 interceptions a year average for the last 4 years and # 96 NCAA Average Rank in Penalties – all each over the last 4 years. And, ESPN Chris Low reports that Coach Richt is the 5th worst coach in The SEC against Ranked teams with his current SEC team.

Quit with the Excuses. This is totally embarrassing.

Please tell me that we can start turning this around with a 12-2 season this year, which there is no reason why we cannot.

Except for ALL the distractions.

And, there are MANY.

In fact, that is ALL we read. Try reading the other Bulldogs’ fans posts. Just try. They are either complaining, or they are the very vocal few who are whistling through the cemetery that all is well, and we are doing great at # 19 over the last 4 years combined at 38-14 – oh, and all the rest of us must stop discussing all of these bad news stories.

Did I mention Coach Richt has lost 8 games to teams who were not in the Top 25 Final AP Poll the year they beat us ?

This is The Crucial Year of The Coach Richt Era, his 10th. He loses 15 seniors and 4 or 5 juniors after this season, did not have a particularly good recruiting class this year 2010 on Offense and 2011 on Offense is once again looking very bad so far as well. His prospects for a great season 2011 for the football program UGA which is the # 11 Program in 1-A Wins All-Time, are nil.

I am not harping on the negative, it is all there is to read.

1. You realize David Hale is on vacation, right?
2. You know everyone can read and we've read 90% of your commentary the last timeS you wrote it.
3. The more you write, even when its about players' behavior issues, you know it makes YOU seem like the one with the real issue? It's hard to agree with you when the way you personally attack players makes me just start to feel bad for THEM.

Anon 5:57 what is it that you want? You prattle on endlessly and obviously have a problem with just about every aspect of UGA sports. How about offering a solution – what should be done – who should be head coach – who should UGA recruit? Dim bulbs like you never cease to amaze.

UGA recruits the same players all the major schools recruit. Unless you have some secret source for players I suggest you STFU.

David,

Isn't the following a violation of NCAA rules?

From the AJC...

"“Thursday’s our big night,” Morton told the Times Free Press. “We had all the UT football players come in. They’re on a first-name basis with my husband [the co-owner], and they get VIP status, which means they pay no cover at the door. ... I don’t know what happened, but several of the guys started beating up the other customer. I want to guess there was seven to 10 guys beating up this one gentleman."

Derek Dooley ended his vacation, much as Michael F. Adam$ did last weekend, and returned home to ObKnoxiousville last night to deal with the OPEN BAR for all Tennessee vols’ football players, and the 2 patrons the 7 vols’ football players beat up.

Darren Myles Jr. recently arrested a couple of months ago, has been KICKED OFF THE VOLS’ FOOTBALL team by Derek Dooley, exactly as I said Derek Dooley would do, following his second arrest in the span of 2 and a half months.

“I am disappointed and embarrassed in many ways in the lapses of judgment by several members of our football team last night,” said Dooley.

“It’s a privilege not a right to be a member of this football team.”

He just doesn’t fit in up there with the Hillbillies and they all better figure that out, right fast.

Defensive tackle Marlon Walls and linebacker Greg King have both been indefinitely suspended.

Eric Berry, son of former vols’ player – not recruit stolen from the state of Georgia - departed.

In steps Darren Myles, Jr. to take Eric Berry’s defensive back position this up-coming season as a promising sophomore.

3 months ago, April 20 then, Darren Myles, Jr. was arrested for public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after a disturbance at a Knoxville restaurant and nightclub. Knoxville police say Myles was arrested Sunday about 2:30 a.m. after bouncers removed him from the restaurant. Police say the sophomore then created a disturbance in the parking lot and fought with officers as they attempted to take him into custody. They say he smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet.

Now, this on top of that.

6 feet 1 and a half with blazing 4.39 speed in the 40-yard dash, Darren Myles, Jr. was rated Top 10 at his Safety Position in the nation.

Under Armour All-America.

SuperPrep All-America.

Darren Myles, Sr. is the Football High School coach at Carver High School here in Atlanta, not reported by the AJ-C.

Sent his little boy to ObKnoxiousville and watched in horror as Derek Dooley leveled the axe in front of the little boy’s mother, as well, crying.

3.2GPA.

Bench 260, Squat 550, vertical jump 36, this is one of the premier athletes and students in America.

Shame.

Really a shame.

THUG.

Georgia did NOT recruit Darren Myles, Jr. – no scholarship offer.

Alabama, Florida, LSU, and Georgia tek offered Darren Myles, Jr. a scholarship.

I would like to get back to this OPEN BAR, VIP status, all vols’ football players invited to the bar with COVER CHARGE WAIVED for all vols’ football players.

Tennessee freshman Da'Rick Rogers and sophomore safety Darren Myles, Jr. have both been released on bond after being arrested overnight as a part of a fight at the Bar Knoxville night club on Cumberland Ave.

How RICH is that ?

Da’Rick Rogers.

Let’s see; ran his mouth about commitment to UGA.

Ran his mouth on Signing Day that he would play, instead, in ObKnoxiousville. It was the difference in UGA having a good Offensive Recruiting Class including the Wide Receiver seen as the replacement after this season for AJ Green and seen as the dual-threat this year, with him.

It also elevated the vols’ recruiting class better than UGA’s with Da’Rick Rogers signing with Derek Dooley. The Top Rated Derek Dooley Signee.

Rivals Ranked Derek Dooley’s Recruiting # 9 in the nation, UGA # 15.

Scout.com Ranked Derek Dooley’s Recruiting # 16, UGA # 21.

The Big Problem with UGA’s Recruiting this 2010 Signing Date was Da’Rick Rogers, according to the AJ-C was that we WHIFFED on Da’Rick Rogers, a big area of need for UGA.

We also whiffed on the top running backs in this state.

And, every other Offensive Position, while we RACKED UP on Defense with new DC Todd Grantham.

But, on Offense, we got nothing.

5-Star Recruit Da’Rick Rogers with his too even more blazing 4.34 speed in the 40-yard dash, is 6’ 3” and 206 lbs. out of Calhoun.

Calhoun High School.

41 inch vertical leap, he is a freak.

Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss, and of course UGA gave him Scholarship Offers along with the rest of the known world.

Tony Ball, the great former Running Back, we have coaching Wide Receivers whiffed on Signing him, the AJ-C reported.

# 1 Overall Football Recruit in the State of Georgia this 2010 season, Da’Rick Rogers (much like Caleb King was a few years’ earlier and since a total bust.)

Ranked the # 2 Wide Receiver in the United States of America.

4.34 speed.

6 of the 7 vols’ players involved in the barroom brawl were detained this time yesterday by Knoxville’s finest.

Cumberland Boulevard Strip.

2 Arrested.

Da’Rick Rogers.

He only visited 2 colleges, ObKnoxiousville and Athens Georgia.

So.

Darren Myles, Jr. had made 80 tackles 15 pass break-ups, 2 fumble recoveries, an Interception, scored 5 touchdowns, and 5 sacks as a Senior in 2008 playing for his Dad at

Carver High School.

Rogers was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Myles was charged with evading arrest, resisting arrest and simple assault.

According to UTPD reports, Myles fled on foot southbound on Lake Ave. After a foot chase Myles, according to the police report, struck officer Brian Greenlee with his elbow under Greenlee's left eye.

Myles then fled and was found hiding under a white BMW. When instructed to come out from under the car, Myles fled again. Myles ran through the breezeway of Greve Hall. He was later located in bushes next to Henson Hall and was taken into custody.

The investigation continues into the fight that left an off-duty officer unconscious and a patron inside the bar unconscious.

The vols just got a lot worse.

Those detained include defensive tackle John Brown, freshman wide receiver Matt Milton and receiver Denarius Moore.

It is not just Athens, folks.

But, instead of making excuses, Derek Dooley kicked off the team the replacement for Eric Berry.

THUG CULTURE.

THUG BEHAVIOR.

Please note that 7 vols’ football players listened to someone who heard the vols’ football players get in FREE to the party last night. They ALL 7 JUMPED HIM. Sent him to the hospital with numerous injuries and knocked him unconscious.

When the bar owner then pushed them outside the bar spilling out onto Cumberland Boulevard, vols’ players wielding bar stools, a Knoxville Policeman, off-duty, tried to break it up and he too was knocked unconscious and once knocked down, KICKED IN THE HEAD by vols’ football players.

THUGS.

"written in a manner that's gramatically"

"GRAMATICALLY" is NOT even a WORD.

You NEVER come in here and discuss football or UGA Bulldogs' Sports.

Why is that because you DON'T KNOW A DAMN THING ABOUT EITHER ?

It sure as hell is not because you are any good whatsoever at writing a sentence grammatically correct, nor because you even know how to spell the damn word, GRAMMATICALLY.

Go ahead. I double-dog dare you to write your 1st post ever about football or Bulldogs' Sports.

I come in here to discuss the stories of the day. If you think there is an article written that has the details provided by me here about the barroom brawl the night before, give me a URL Link to it and I will show you what they left out of the story.

Or, better yet, write yourself your 1st GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT SENTENCE. You wrote a 2-sentence post criticizing my Internet spelling, English and Grammar; and made a F. 1 sentence is not even a sentence with so many grammatical errors as to render your diatribe about ENGLISH, null and void.

Further, try writing something about Bulldogs' Sports, or football on the Internet.

Oh, you are NOT CAPABLE OF THAT EITHER.

Hey long-winded anonymous person, why not simply start your own blog and fill it with your rants? Is it because no one would go there to read it? This is David Hale's blog, and because huge numbers of people come here to read it, this is the only place you can garner attention. Why not have a screen name other than anonymous if you require so much attention? You are a sad little individual. I hope you don't run out of prozac.

Again, just because you have NEVER, EVER, once posted about football, or Georgia sports, means you don't know a damn thing about either.

Or, English as you demonstrated. And, yes, you were taken to task; but it was only on YOUR TOPIC, English.

I see you did not accept the challenge to post your 1st post about football or Georgia sports.

Just because you write about English doesn't mean you know anything about it, either, as proved.

Just because you DON'T ever write about football, does mean you DON'T know a DAMN THING about it, or Georgia sports, either.

In the meantime, Arrest / Suspension # 42 since February 2007 Dontavius Jackson 20 a great running back, is arrested on DUI, underage drinking, following too closely, failure to move over to protect arresting officers at another crime scene, and leaving the scene of an accident.

Arrest / Suspension # 43 since February 2007 Tavarres King 20 underage possession of alcohol, owner of the car driven by Dontavius Jackson.

The Fulmer Cup Started in 2006 and only covers the Summer Periods since. UGA is in 3rd place All-Time in Fulmer Cup Points, since.

We are in 1st place now for this Summer.

It actually is getting worse, not better.

Chris 6:02 pm,
Just because a kid drinks underage doesn’t make him a THUG, you say. Excuse me. There was an arrest going on, and he did not move over to protect the officer and suspects; he was drunk at age 19; he was DUI; he had just been in an accident a block away; he left the scene of that accident; he was in possession of alcohol behind the wheel of a 2-ton dangerous weapon; his accident he was fleeing from Justice from was as a result of following too closely; AND he was underage drinking at 19 years of age.

Perhaps his worst crime – if DUI and leaving the scene of an accident are NOTHING to you Chris – was that our Starting WR Tavarres King 20, who will be suspended for the 1st 2 games MISSING South Carolina, DUPED Dontavius Jackson 19 to DRIVE so that he would NOT subject himself to DUI DWI charges.

As for your musings Chris that every other college would put up with these continued now # 42 and # 43 arrest / suspension since just 2007 for UGA, pardon me we already were # 3 among all colleges for Fulmer Cup Standings All-Time – which started in 2006 and covers only the Summer Months for some odd reason.

URBAN MEYER does NOT have more arrests in his program than the 43 Arrests / Suspensions since February 2007 here at UGA. I have provided that URL Link to you several times Chris. Georgia has MORE ARRESTS in our program than Florida State, Florida, and Tennessee according to the Gainesville Sun Kevin Brockway.

Coach Richt has LOST 27 games in 9 years. Vince Dooley lost only 21 games from 1980 to 1988 a span of 9 years also, won a Consensus National Championship, had only 3 other teams with a better winning percentage than he, BEAT Top 10 Final AP Poll teams not the miserable only 3 wins out of 11 games for Coach Richt, did NOT lose to 8 teams NOT RANKED in the Final AP Poll Top 25 as has Coach Richt, and did not have his players 1 a month for 9 years arrested / suspended. Of the only 3 better winning percentages than Vince Dooley 1980 to 1988, none were in The SEC.

..77041 winning percentage Wally Butts 1940-1948, 9 yrs.

Coach Richt has won no national championship by any poll. He has LOST 27 games, has a WORSE winning percentage for 9 years than Vince Dooley from 1980 to 1988 and WORSE winning percentage for 9 years than Wally Butts here at UGA also 1940 to 1948, has LOST to 8 teams NOT RANKED in the Top 25 of the Final AP Poll, has LOST all but 3 of 11 games against Top 10 Final AP Poll teams. Coach Richt is not finding only 3 as Vince Dooley or 4 as Wally Butts, better; but finds himself with the # 8 best winning percentage 2001 to 2009, 9 years too, and of those 8 teams, Coach Richt is THIRD BEST IN THE SEC ( # 3 SEC.) And, of course, BOTH LSU and Florida have MULTIPLE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2001-2009. Even Alabama now has passed us by. All we have is BAD PRESS and have not been to The SEC Championship Game since 2005. This is 2010 with no hope this season, and after this season, lose 15 seniors and 4 or 5 juniors – all starters. We are 10-10 these same last 4 years vs. SEC East teams. That is # 3 for Coach Richt vs SEC East teams the last 4 years. We are 20-12 vs SEC teams the last 4 years. That is # 4 vs SEC teams the last 4 years. Coach Richt is # 5 in just The SEC vs Ranked Teams at his current school.

..76923 winning percentage Coach Richt 2001-2009, 9 yrs.

Chris Low, you love to quote from 8 years ago, said just last week that Coach Richt is the # 5 Worst SEC Coach at his current school beating RANKED TEAMS.

Damon Evans is a SUPREME THUG, trying to use his POWER as AD at UGA ( We FIRED Vince Dooley FOR THIS ? ) to cover up his DUI and asking to be taken to a motel with his mistress sans her panties a pantyless skank by the Georgia State Patrol. He ALSO besides CHEATING ON HIS WIFE for over a week according to the call girl, had her panties between HIS LEGS, and REFUSED IMPLIED CONSENT to breathalyzer.

That’s a THUG. Which is why we FIRED HIM.

We lead the Fulmer Cup this 2010 Rankings. We are # 3 All-Time in Fulmer Cup Points and have NOT WON A DAMN THING. Oh, uniform changes maybe. Arrests / Suspensions for sure. And, EXCUSES. That’s it Chris.

Phil Steele said we are # 19 this up-coming 2010 season, the same # 19 that we have been over the last 4 years in won / lost at 38-14.
