It's great getting these videos, but Brandon needs to learn a bit about videography! First, he needs a dark background behind the players so the camera will lighten the exposure! He needs to find a space with a bit more natural light. Perhaps place the player facing the window with a dark background behind him.
Keep doin what you're doin Brando...you could put crayon stick figure drawings on the screen....it's the audio that's important and hearing not just what they say, but how they say it.
The Ben Jones interview got me thinking about when we might one day get an experienced line in combination with an experienced back and qb...I guess a boy can dream, right?
I'm sure they are capable of choosing from which direction they shoot the videos from. If you want to avoid bright backgrounds, just move your position slightly. I doubt the players will mind turning their bodies a few inches.
I tell you what, Ben just looks and sounds like a real stand up guy. I could feel real comfortable knowing that he and four others like him have got my back.
And it's hard not to love a 5'7", 175lb guy who's not afraid to run at Richard Samuel (or anyone, for that matter). Good man, that Carlton Thomas.
Cojones -- +1 for winning the lame but amusing joke of the day.
BigMuddy -- Gotta love Carlton Thomas -- but man oh man does Richard have a few lbs on him.
Anon -- Just an FYI, we are very limited in where we can shoot video because of all the construction going on at Butts-Mehre. It's a crazy scene. The players just come off the field, up the elevator and we do the interviews all in the dimly lit museum area. Most of the time a flock of reporters is surrounding the guys too, so it's tough to move them around to get the light right. It's a tough situation.

ReplyDeleteYou know it's not Brandon's choice where they get to talk to players, right? They get what they get.
