A walk-on is usually somebody that the coaches invite to try-out for the team with the understanding that they don't have a scholarship but can possibly earn one eventually.Dawg19noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162716793249150680.post-3958870572657369252010-04-22T22:43:54.763-04:002010-04-22T22:43:54.763-04:00Not to hate on a walk-on, but is Brandon Harton (f...Not to hate on a walk-on, but is Brandon Harton (flanker) seriously 5'5, cus that's just cute.

BTW, David, do you think you could do a piece sometime on what being a "walk-on" entails? It was in AJC (Tim Tucker) or georgiabulldogs.com. I have not read anything else. The poster Jericho also seems to have read it. However, after going back to link it, I noticed the comment is not on either source. Tucker's article was written at 3:35 but he modified the article at 7PM. Tucker references the question but Richt's response was changed.

I know what I read, and I know I read it in one or both of those sources because I don't believe 90% of what I read on a lot of blogsites. The only reason I mentioned it was because I knew it came from a credible site and because the comment surprised me. It now seems that this comment was a misquote or was too sensitive to be kept in print because I think it's been changed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162716793249150680.post-43006574950901164132010-04-22T20:36:32.190-04:002010-04-22T20:36:32.190-04:00Don't call bust on Marlon!
