If you want to read the whole thing, you can go to http://im-thinking19.blogspot.com/2009/06/stafford-was-pretty-good.html, but the gist is that I think he had more big wins than he gets credit for, and the losses were in large part due to forces outside his control (like lousy defense).

David, you mentioned that the offense didn't really show up in the Alabama and Florida games...the Florida game I would tend to agree with, but in the case of the Tide I think the defense put us in such a hole that we weren't really even running our offense from about the 2nd quarter on..similar to what happened in Knoxville in 2007. I can't put either of those losses at the feet of the offense.Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00155737107718849274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162716793249150680.post-88181020884327667672009-06-24T14:58:29.570-04:002009-06-24T14:58:29.570-04:00can I have Ken's number? lol
You're right...can I have Ken's number? lol

You're right about Stafford not being a great quote. Someone started prepping him back in high school. If he hadn't done those kegger squat-thrusts in Bama, I wouldn't have believed he had a personality at all. At least Moreno had the smile - and the love of Legos.BulldogBryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08278897630475820366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162716793249150680.post-31592144578216653842009-06-24T12:29:46.247-04:002009-06-24T12:29:46.247-04:00It was the type of high-school delinquency that I ...It was the type of high-school delinquency that I found hilarious at the time.

Heck, that's the kind of delinquency that I find hilarious now.MaconDawghttp://www.dawgsports.comnoreply@blogger.com
